UPDATE: RULE CHANGE AND FURTHER EXTENSION TO JULY 21

Due to several requests, we have decided to allow also abstracts describing original research to be considered for subsequent extension and inclusion in the post-conference proceedings. To allow perspective authors to take this opportunity, the submission rules and deadlines have been consequently changed as follows:

All submissions must be made electronically, by 21 July 2018, through the online submission system EasyChair at this link. Contributions may be submitted in one of the following forms:

1.       Full research papers (up to 12 pages).

2.       Simple Abstracts (1-4 pages).

Full research papers should present original unpublished work and must be prepared in the format used for Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

Simple abstracts should describe original work in progress or a summary of a full paper (already published or submitted for publication).

Each submission will be reviewed by at least three TPC members and a selection will be made on the basis of significance, clarity and relevance for the track topics.

Full research papers and abstracts describing unpublished work will be considered for publication of extended versions (up to 15 pages) in a post-conference proceedings volume which will be published by Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

Papers and abstracts which have not been selected for extension will be collected in a book and distributed at the conference, along with the abstracts of the papers which have been selected.

Instruction for authors and templates may be found here.
